If your item isn’t a super legendary then the chance of getting an Apex is extremely rare (/check farmability). The drop rate is in the single digits.
We will be updating arms warrior in our next patch, making them one of the best classes to farm this item on.
how much do heirlooms cost apex
Apex can be obtained via any farming method, but will only drop if it’s a super legendary. If your item isn’t a super legendary then the chance of getting an Apex is extremely rare (/check farmability). The drop rate is in the single digits. Apex can be traded freely between characters, and for those who aren’t lucky enough to get one through farming it will cost 1 billion gold / check trade.
The Apex is a powerful weapon that offers almost infinite damage due to it’s synergy with the new “overpowered” gem which will also be introduced in our next patch. The stats are obviously top-notch, but the newly added passive is what makes this item so OP. When you switch to this weapon all of your cooldowns will be reset. This includes heroic strike , whirlwind , slam and anything else you can think of.
Introduce the new item
In our last patch we will be introducing a new gem that ties in with this item. The new “overpowered” gem is a guaranteed drop from all bosses below level 100 and will be very common to find. On top of that, it works best when combined with the Apex. The Apex synergizes with the “overpowered” gem by making all abilities have 0 cooldown . It’s not easy to obtain this combination of items, but when you do you will be able to deal ridiculous damage very quickly.
Discuss how it can be used
The Apex will be extremely powerful when paired with other items that give high damage bonuses. To maximize the damage output of our new epic weapon, players seeking to obtain it will need to combine it with another super-ultra legendary (such as The Mechano) and any number of overpowered gems. We expect these types of builds to be very common, and expect our servers to crash as a result.
The Apex can also be used as an upgrade for those looking to boost their existing legendary item. Another popular use of the Apex will be as an upgrade for players seeking to level-up the new overpowered gem (which is only dropped from rare bosses), such as those who have been unlucky enough to receive a “stolen power” gem.
Explain why this is a great addition to the game
Players asked for more options when it comes to the ultra-legendary slot, and that’s exactly what we’re giving them with this new item. We are making changes to arms warrior in our next patch which will make them one of the best classes for farming Apex, alongside hunters. With these two classes being extremely dominant at super-legendary farming, we expect them to become the best and easiest characters that players can play.
